Madame Butterfly Restaurant Siem Reap

Welcome to Madame Butterfly Restaurant located on National Road 6 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. We share the same name as the short story by John Luther Long, an American lawyer and author. The story is based on the memories of his sister, who had been a missionary in Japan. The short story was published at the end of the 19th century. Although we share the same name as the short story, our restaurant isn't Japanese themed! Instead, we serve delicious Khmer food which hints of Thai and Chinese cuisine.

Madame Butterfly is one of the longest running Khmer restaurants in Siem Reap and has a reputation to match. We're located just outside of the town and we offer a quiet and romantic atmosphere which you won't find anywhere in and around Pub Street.

Our menu is distinctly Khmer with starters such as sea-food spring rolls or a green mango salad. We also have traditional Khmer soup, sour soup, and the popular Thai Tom Yam soup. All our food is locally produced with seafood from Sihanoukville or lobster from the Mekong river. We are proud to say that all food served at Madame Butterfly has been locally sourced.

We also have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.

We look forward to welcoming you to Madame Butterfly during your stay in Siem Reap town.
